The Olympic gymnastics finals are being held in ParisSimone Biles and Team USA had a busy week, starting with a gold medal on Tuesday in the women’s gymnastics team final.
Biles then went on to win gold on Thursday in the individual all-around.
Bilesappeared to strain a calf muscle while warming up on floor during qualifying Sunday, but did not seem to be bothered by her injury in the team final or the all-around. Biles, 27, has won more Olympic medals than any American gymnast in history and will have a better chance to increase her total in the event finals, where she will compete on vault, bars and floor exercises.
