Max Verstappen will become world champion for the first time in 2021 after a crazy finish. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner continues to respect Lewis Hamilton’s controversial response.
The battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in 2021 was hotly contested. Mercedes and Red Bull didn’t give each other an inch on or off the track, with Verstappen and Hamilton level on points ahead of the final race in Abu Dhabi.

Horner praises Hamilton
Horner admits things have changed over the course of the competition. Things don’t seem to be going well.
But we compromised both positions and strategies and chose an offensive path rather than a defensive one. Because there is nothing to lose and everything to gain.
