Major reason Julian Humfrey decided to stay in Georgia. Name removed from transfer portal

Julian Humphrey has decided to stay with the team after announcing that he will also be joining the transfer portal.

   GEORGIA BULLDOGS
One of Georgia’s cornerbacks is still feeling the buzz this week and isn’t sure what he’ll do and stay with the team.

Before the Orange Bowl, Julian Humphrey announced that he will join the transition team with teammate Daniel Harris. After the game, the two decided to remove their names from the portal and stay with the team.

After two announcements, word came out last night that Humphrey had re-entered the transit portal and was using his three years to sign up elsewhere. Just 21 hours later, Humphrey decided to stay in Athens with the Bulldogs.

On3 reports on why Humphreyand wants to stay with the Bulldogs. In the article there is an interview with Humphrey, who is given the opportunity to explain the uncertainty. The following are excerpts from the interview.
I thought about it a lot, Humphrey spoke exclusively with DawgsHQ and the UGA team in an exclusive interview.

And he knew if he had a good year at Georgia, he could make it to the NFL. The more I think about this, the more I wonder why I would pay more dollars to get out of Georgia? I want to go there. That’s Georgia, and it’s one of the best programs in the country.

Even if Humphrey joins the team at the end of the transfer window, he still has the means, but this is good news because Kirby Smart and Will Muschamp are gaining, not losing valuable parts. Thank you for your continued success in 2023..
