Five reasons to be optimistic about Colorado’s remaining games

As hard as it is to believe, the Colorado Buffaloes are more than halfway through their first regular season of the Deion Sanders era. The Buffs are currently on their bye week and after that, just five regular season games remain.

Sitting at 4-3 on the season, the Buffs still have some work to do if they hope to make it to a bowl game. Despite losing three out of their last four games, fans of the Buffs should remain optimistic heading into the home stretch.

Colorado players have had the spotlight on them ever since the season began, but it will likely be nice for the Buffs to hang loose and not have the eyes of the college football world upon them. Having time to get healthy and correct some issues should help the Buffs down the stretch.

Coach Prime has quickly turned the program around and as long as he is roaming the sidelines for the Buffs, optimism should flow from the Colorado faithful.
