Do your best for me’: Rabbitohs star reveals big D-Day contract talk as darkness falls

Rabbitohs star Keaon Koloamatangi will consider his future when he returns from representative duty as two rival clubs prepare to play him on November 1.

Koloamatangi’s current contract with South Sydney expires at the end of 2024, meaning he will be free to negotiate with rivals from November 1 if he does not re-sign before then.

News Corp reports that the Raiders and Dragons are interested in the 25-year-old, who will fly to Britain this week to represent Tonga in a three-match international series against England. He told News Corp that no decision would be made on his future until he returned home. – My manager (Tyran Smith) did it, he knows I was on tour, so I let him do all that (talking about the contract), Koloamatangi said.

“My manager Ty and I have a great relationship, he’s been my manager since I was 15, so I trust him with my life. I know he’ll do his best for me.

I’ll probably decide when I get back from England.” Koloamatangi has played 82 NRL games for the Rabbitohs since making his debut in 2020 and has expressed his preference to remain at the club.
