Vet’s wife, 52, blasts go-kart racing driver who once boasted he was the ‘next Lewis Hamilton’ for horror smash which meant she missed her father’s funeral
A vet’s significant other has censured a go-kart hustling driver who flaunted he was the following Lewis Hamilton after he caused a head-on street crush which left her so seriously harmed she couldn’t go to her own dad’s memorial service. Louise Gunstone, 52, required a medical procedure on her spine and neck to save her life and forestall loss of motion after Jack Hayes-Robert, 21, sped onto some unacceptable roadside in his Skoda Fabia and blasted through her Citroen C4.
Hayes-Robert, who opened up to the world about his cutthroat go-kart dashing in his nearby paper and promised to go into Equation 1 to ‘beat Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg’, later guaranteed the mishap was a ‘certifiable mistake.’
He conceded to causing serious injury via thoughtless driving.
Mrs Gunstone who works a medical caretaker at spouse Rupert’s equine veterinary medical procedure in Malpas, Cheshire sentenced the growing racer eye to eye from the observer box.
She said: ‘ My dad kicked the bucket the week prior to the accident and I had quite recently begun to design the memorial service courses of action,’ the mother of two told Hayes-Roberts at Chester judges court.
