USA Gymnastics couldn’t be any prouder of superstars Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles. The organization showed as much on Friday, August 30, after the Houston Astros honored the Olympians against the Kansas City Royals. Biles and Chiles, along with other Olympic athletes, were in attendance during the showdown as part of the Astros’ tribute to the Houston Olympians who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics. In fact, Biles was given the honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the game, a moment which drew heartwarming reactions from fans and the MLB itself. Meanwhile, Chiles-who recently ended her social media hiatus caused by the Olympic bronze medal controversy she’s involved in-received her much-deserved recognition as well when fans gave her a round of applause when she was shown on the jumbotron.
