Tiger Woods ex golf coach makes outrageous (!) PGA Tour claim.
Tiger Woods’ former golf coach Hank Haney has ripped into the ‘Corrupt Golf Media’ and claimed it’s much easier to win on the PGA Tour in 2024.
Tiger Woods’ ex golf coach Hank Haney has hit out at the ‘Corrupt Golf Media’ as he calls it by claiming nobody has discussed ‘how it’s easier than ever to win on the PGA Tour’ in 2024.
Haney’s tweet comes off the back of Australia’s Cam Davis landing his second Rocket Mortgage Classic title in three years.
It marked his second career PGA Tour title and it was also his first top-10 finish of the season.
Davis took full advantage of Akshay Bhatia missing a five-footer for par on the 18th to see out a narrow one-shot victory at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan.
With a number of the world’s best golfers such as Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau playing on the Saudi-bankrolled LIV Golf League in 2024, Woods’ former golf coach Haney has taken aim at how it’s now easier than ever to win on the PGA Tour.
Scottie Scheffler has already notched six wins so far on the PGA Tour in 2024.
All six wins have all come in Scheffler’s last 10 starts on the PGA Tour.
The runaway World No.1 and FedEx Cup leader becomes the first player to win six times in a season since Tiger Woods in 2009.
Haney was Woods’ coach at the time.
Scheffler now needs three more wins to match the all-time record of nine PGA Tour wins in a season, something only ever achieved by Woods in 2000 and Vijay Singha in 2004.
It is understood he has five more tournaments left on the PGA Tour this season, one of which includes The Open at Royal Troom from 18-21 July.
Scheffler has also smashed what many deemed an ‘unbreakable’ OWGR record set by Woods in 2000.

Scheffler has been playing the golf of his life this season, and many believe he would have still defeated any LIV Golf player standing in his way on the PGA Tour in each of those six victories.
But apparently not in the eyes of Haney.
Not one member of the Corrupt Golf Media has written an article or talked about how it’s easier than ever to win on the PGA Tour, which is one of the many reasons why they are charter members of the CGM.

Haney finds it baffling how the ‘Corrupt Golf Media’ – as he so politely calls it – has not spoken about why it’s easier than ever to win on the PGA Tour.
He tweeted:
“Not one member of the Corrupt Golf Media has written an article or talked about how it’s easier than ever to win on the PGA Tour, which is one of the many reasons why they are charter members of the CGM.”
Haney was Woods’ coach from 2004 to 2010, a stretch that saw him win six major titles.
The duo split a few months after revelations about Woods’ private life broke in 2009.
In 2012, Haney told of how he regretted how his relationship with Woods soured.
