The 2024 Irish Golfer Top 100 Courses In Ireland Ranking

Whether you prefer links golf or parkland golf, Ireland has something for everyone. We have some of the most internationally renowned courses in the world on our doorstep and we are quite literally spoiled for choice. Talk to a golfer, any golfer and ask them what are their favourite courses in Ireland. If they’ve played a lot of courses then the top 20 or so will most likely be pretty similar, although for reasons known only to the individual they’ll likely all be in a different order! The list is outlined below and to check out the criteria used or read the magazine CLICK HERE.

Before you get started on the list (if you haven’t already read it and came back to read the intro), there are some caveats that you need to know about! The first of these is that Druids Glen continues to be excluded, though its highly-anticipated return later this year is sure to shake-up our Top-100 rankings for 2024 and beyond. Druids Heath does return to the fold, however, and it’s looking picture-perfect after a significant makeover.

You’re also sure to notice some monumental movers this year. Heavy investment has been noted and rewarded with richly deserved rises, notably at The Heritage and Palmerstown House Estate. Carlow gem Mount Wolseley makes its worthy presence felt as a new entry this year while Naas, Clandeboye (Dufferin) and Glasson Lakehouse have cemented their spots inside the rankings having evolved their golf product over the past 12 months. Of course, this means that some courses (including some of our favourites) have missed out and as always we have listed those who were in consideration for the Top-100 but didn’t make the final list.
