Woods finished the Masters with a score of +16 – the worst score of his career.
However, the 48-year-old still found a way to make history in the legendary event in Augusta, Georgia.
Last Friday, Woods made his 24th consecutive birdie at the Masters.
He set a new record at a major golf championship.
Stephen A. talked about the end of the Masters, He was alongside NFL legend Shannon Sharpe throughout the segment.
Superstar Scottie Scheffler won the tournament for the second time in three years.
But that’s not what Smith wants to talk about.
The 56-year-old’s fiery personality turned attention to Woods’ performance.
“It’s over,” Stephen A. said about the 48-year-old man’s future in golf.
Smith still credits Woods for how he “overcame” past health issues, including his most recent serious foot injury from a car accident in 2021 .
But Stephen A. mentioned the worst career record of the 15-time major golf champion at the Masters.
He also mentioned that since winning the Masters in 2019, Woods’ best finish in a tournament has been tied for 21st.
Smith was not a fan of Woods calling his return to Augusta a “good week.”
Sharpe agreed with Smith and said he believes the 48-year-old doesn’t think he can win another major.
Wood has revealed his intention to play in the PGA Championship next month at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
