Meanwhile, Hamilton is 200 points behind the Dutchman and is fourth in the classification.
Hamilton recently signed a £50m two-year contract extension which will keep him in the sport until his 41st birthday. Stewart, who himself won three titles between 1969 and 1973, told BILD that Hamilton has “serious problems” that could prevent him from securing an eighth championship.
