While Owens, 28, hasn’t revealed what the tattoo represents, the Chicago Bears player has been busy supporting his wife as she prepares for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Biles confirmed to reporters on June 30 that after her victory at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Minneapolis, Owens will be cheering her on since he put in some vacation time with his new team.
“The Bears are actually granting him a couple days off from training camp, so he’ll be there,” Biles revealed. “Yes, for just a short little time.”
Owens, who met Biles on a dating app in 2020 and tied the knot with her in 2023, has also been showering her with gifts ahead of her latest career milestone.
Earlier this month, the highly-decorated gymnast, who has now qualified for her third Olympic Games, spoke with the press about being 27.
As one of the oldest gymnasts competing at the upcoming Summer Games this time around, Biles offered an apology to her 2016 Rio Olympic Games team captain Aly Raisman for calling her the “grandma” of their team at just 22.
So now, I definitely have to apologize to Aly for calling her grandma because, whew, I feel like I’m way older now than me calling her grandma when we were younger,” Biles said, per Gymnastics Now.
And you know, it’s what 11 [p.m.]? So, it’s definitely past my bedtime, so I know Aly would be cracking up right now. But yeah, it’s crazy. I’m a lot older and more mature. What was the rest of the question? See, I’m forgetting,” she added.
Fans can watch Biles as she takes to Paris and goes for gold once again starting July 27.
