In team sports, each team member splits the pot evenly.” Mind you, these are the numbers for 2018—CNBC said the figures increased by 50 percent from the 2016 Olympic Games. This means Simone racked up about $82,500 to $100,000 for her winning streak in Rio. If Simone is able to pull off a similar winning streak at the 2024 Paris Olympics, that means she’ll walk away with at least $165,000 in earnings!
Did someone say endorsements?
When you’re as talented as Simone Biles (a girl can dream), companies will naturally want to slap your face on everything to help sell products—and can you blame them? In April 2021, Simone left her Nike deal to work with Athleta, where she’ll work on designing products and capsule collections.
In addition to working with Athleta, Simone also has endorsements with SK-II, Hershey’s, Uber Eats, Candid Dental, Kellogg’s, Mattress Firm, and Beats by Dre. The more, the merrier!
Simone also published her own autobiography in 2021, which means she probably raked in money from its sales, too.
