Simone Biles Celebrates Dad’s 75th Birthday at Olympics with Special Gift from Snoop Dogg
After making history at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Simone Biles is celebrating a major milestone with her dad!
The gold medalist, 27, marked her father Ronald Biles’ 75th birthday with a series of sweet pictures on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Simone first commemorated the special day with a cool snap of Ronald smiling while rocking bedazzled sunglasses.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD,” Simone wrote on top of the photo, adding a handful of white heart Emojis.
The gymnast later shared a close-up of seven champagne glasses feting her father, and a selfie of herself wearing the same bedazzled eyewear (and her famous GOAT necklace).
Simone’s sister, Adria Biles, also showed off a little bling that Ronald was gifted with from rapper and TV star Snoop Dogg. In the photo posted on Adria’s Instagram Stories, Ronald shows off the gold Death Row Records necklace and Adria jokingly wrote, “snoop gave him a chain now he don’t know how to act.”
She told her dad at the bottom of the photo, “75 looks great on you! happy birthday i love you.”
The Biles family later celebrated Ronald while enjoying the track and field competitions from a suite. As seen in a photo shared on Simone’s Instagram Stories, Ronald, who’s proudly wearing a red Team USA hat, holds a chocolate birthday cake with lit candles that simply reads, “Happy Birthday.”
It’s safe to say Ronald has been having the time of his life while supporting Simone as she became the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history when she and her teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera won gold in the team final.
Simone previously shared a photo of her father watching her compete through a pair of binoculars as her mother Nellie smiled on. Simone’s husband Jonathan Owens was also spotted sitting alongside her proud parents.
“My dad & his binoculars is soooo freaking cute🥹,” Simone wrote.
She won a total of four medals in Paris before her sixth and final event of the 2024 Games on Monday, Aug. 5.
So how did they celebrate? Nellie exclusively told PEOPLE on Sunday, Aug. 4, that they planned “to eat and toast” to the champion, adding, “We’ll just talk and talk and relive the whole thing.” Unfortunately, Simone wasn’t present for the celebration as she returned to the Olympic village for press obligations.
