Simone Biles cemented her status as the best gymnast in the world at the 2024 Paris Olympics. After winning three golds and one silver medal, she returned to America as the most-decorated Olympic gymnast, male or female, in U.S. history.

After touring the country with the “Gold Over America Tour,” and hosting her eighth annual Biles International Invitational, she’s spending quality time with her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens. Two years after Owens and Biles tied the knot, the busy couple finally went on their honeymoon this past week, going on a safari in Africa.
While fans wait for Biles to announce whether she’s retiring from gymnastics of if she’ll return to compete at the 2028 Olympics Games in Los Angeles, the 27-year-old shared exciting news about her future on Feb. 18.
“Whether I like it or not, I’ve been around the entertainment space for basically my whole professional career. If you asked me when I was younger, I wanted to be a nurse. I wanted to help people. I wanted to be out in the community,” she told Variety of joining ROS.
“I feel like this is such a unique way to still be in the community, to give back, to tell people stories in a positive manner, in a beautiful way. I’m always around it, always in it, so why not give other people the platform?”
Biles worked with ROS to film her Netflix docuseries “Simone Biles: Rising,” which chronicled her journey from the gymnast’s devastating run at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 to her epic comeback in Paris.
Biles, the first board member to join the ROS team since 2017, is confident she’ll bring a unique perspective to the company. “One, because I’m a female, and two, I’m not on a team sport,” she told Variety.
