Report🥺: Caroline Wozniacki sends Brutal message to Koepka’s wife immediately after McIlroy divorce.

Rory McIlroy filed for divorce from Erica Stoll on Monday, with Brooks Koepka then posting a tribute to his wife, Jena Sims, which was commented on by Caroline Wozniacki

Caroline Wozniacki has swiftly reacted to Brooks Koepka’s heartfelt Instagram tribute to his wife, Jena Sims, amidst the news of Rory McIlroy’s divorce from Erica Stoll.

Golf star Koepka took to social media to express his admiration for his wife, Jena Sims, just as news broke that Rory McIlroy, aged 35, had filed for divorce in Florida on Monday, a development confirmed by McIlroy’s representatives on Tuesday evening. Wozniacki, who was previously engaged to McIlroy, didn’t miss a beat, dropping a comment on Koepka’s post.

Koepka and Wozniacki share a friendship, with the Danish tennis ace having supported him at last year’s Masters, accompanied by her husband, ex-NBA player David Lee. Wozniacki and Lee, who wed in 2019, five years after her planned marriage to McIlroy, have since welcomed two children into their family.

The Koepkas celebrated becoming first-time parents last year, and Brooks’ Instagram post was a nod to his wife’s debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. His caption, filled with pride and love, read: “So proud of you (Jena Sims) amazing to see what hard work can do! I love you! ” alongside an image of Sims in a stunning bikini pose.

Wozniacki quickly chimed in with a “Hot mama,” accompanied by a trio of fire emojis, underlining her support. Both Koepka and Sims have been vocal supporters of Wozniacki’s return to the WTA Tour following a hiatus to focus on her family.

The tennis star unveiled her relationship with Lee three years after McIlroy called off their engagement. After over two years together, they parted ways in May 2014.

Their split came shortly after the couple had sent out invitations to their impending nuptials. While McIlroy insisted it was a mutual and amicable split, Wozniacki has since revealed that they broke up following a brief phone call initiated by the Northern Irishman

She also admitted that there has been no communication between them since.

Stoll first crossed paths with McIlroy more than a year before he became single, while working for the PGA of America at the 2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah.

They started dating the year following his break up from Wozniacki. A few months later, they were engaged, with McIlroy popping the question in Paris before the year ended.

The pair tied the knot in April 2017, and Stoll gave birth to their first child three years later.

In the divorce papers, their daughter is named as Poppy, with McIlroy seeking equal parenting time. The documents describe their marriage as “irretrievably broken.”

McIlroy’s PR team issued a statement on Tuesday evening. “Rory’s desire is to ensure this difficult time is as respectful and amicable as possible,” it stated.

He won’t be making any further comment.”

The news of their separation emerged just days before the start of the PGA Championship.

McIlroy is heading into the major on a high, following consecutive victories on the PGA Tour. The Northern Irish golfer is aiming to topple reigning champion Brooks Koepka and secure his fifth major title at Valhalla Golf Club – the same venue where he clinched his last victory ten years ago, coincidentally in the same month he parted ways with Wozniacki.
