The NFL is reportedly going to investigate a new lawsuit being filed against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Watson is now in the headlines again, not just for his awful play on the field, but for another disturbing sexual assault lawsuit filed against him.
The league will look into this and see if this warrants a suspension. Interestingly though, Mike Florio, who first reported this lawsuit, noted that the Browns could use this as an opportunity to cut ties with the quarterback and void his awful contract. Now there is one NFL journalist and host who suggested that the Browns organization leaked this story to get rid of him.
