The PDC reports that Gary Anderson, Luke Littler, Nathan Aspinall, Jonny Clayton and Ryan Joyce all withdrew. They were then replaced by Ritchie Edhouse, Kevin Doets, Dylan Slevin, Jamie Hughes and Ryan Meikle. They were the highest ranked players who last their qualification match in the final round of the Tour Card Holders Qualifier for this event. It is not known why the five players mentioned above opted out. Anderson and Clayton will still travel to Germany next week to participate in the World Cup of Darts. For Aspinall, Littler and Joyce, the Players Championship tournaments on July 2 and 3 are the next tournaments on the PDC calendar.
