Lewis Hamilton is pursuing a sensational move to Ferrari, according to reports from the Spanish and Italian media. The seven-time world champion signed a new deal with Mercedes last summer, but could be on the move for the 2025 season.
Hamilton was first linked to Ferrari during the 2023 campaign when reports emerged that the legendary Brit had made contact with president John Elkann and team principal Fred Vasseur regarding a move.
However, nothing materialised from these conversations and Hamilton opted to keep faith in the Mercedes team that he joined back in 2013, signing a new two-year contract extension that would keep him at Brackley until the end of the 2025 season.
The Hamilton and Ferrari saga looked to have ended with the signing of that deal, but a report from Italian news outlet Formu1a.uno stated that the two parties are once again in conversation regarding a sensational transfer.
Following on from that bombshell announcement, Spanish news organisation AS reported that Hamilton is actively pursuing the deal and that, while the details have not yet been ironed out, official confirmation may be around the corner.
