During his career with the Seminoles, Dent totaled 187 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, two touchdowns, 16 pass breakups and one interception. He signed with the program as a five-star under former coach Willie Taggart and stayed at Florida State when Mike Norvell arrived in Tallahassee.
