The recognition for Ladd McConkey’s community service continues to roll in.
GEORGIA BULLDOGS
Georgia football has been known for its dominance on the field by players such as Brock Bowers, Jalen Carter, and Ladd McConkey. But one of the more important parts of college football comes off the field and the work a program does in the community.
Ladd McConkey has been the face of community service for the Bulldogs, winning the Wuerffel Trophy. Still, the recognition for his work in the community continues to come, as he was named the Senior Bowl “Power Player.” He has been a positive role model in Athens through the abundance of work he has done for the city.
The Senior Bowl announced McConkey winning this award as part of the exciting past few days he has had with him being presented his Wuerffel Trophy. Community service is important no matter your position, whether it be a division one two-time national champion or an outstanding citizen who wants to give back to their community. McConkey exemplifies this notion to-a-t.
McConkey’s draft stock has been rising tremendously since his work at the Senior Bowl, and he will have another chance to raise it some more when he heads to Indianapolis for the NFL Draft Combine.
