Brock Bowers is a top 15 safety in the upcoming NFL Draft. He talked about how Georgia prepared him for that season.
Georgia hosted its pro day Wednesday with scouts from across the NFL descending on Athens. Unfortunately for the pass rushers, two of Georgia’s top-rated players entering the NFL Draft withdrew due to injury.
Brock Bowers (hamstring) and Amarius Mims (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Both are scheduled to participate in individual workouts for the team on April 10, according to Jordan Reid of ESPN. Bowers, a top-10 pick, was asked how playing at Georgia prepared him for his next step.

“It’s all about thinking and working ahead . thinking about [Georgia],” Bowers said. “I mean, we work hard every day. I think I like training with the people around me, especially training with them. We’re training with a lot of players with a lot of talent and experience. So I think that’s the evolution. I think it really helps with process.
The upcoming NFL draft marks the end of his time as a Bulldog and offers a late-career show of appreciation. Bowers is absolutely flawless. While in Athens, Bowers won as many national championships (2) and John Mackey Awards (2) as he did in shutouts (2). But when asked what she’ll miss most about living in Georgia, she pointed to her colleagues.
“I think I’m going to miss all my friends. I mean, it’s hard being apart. But today. It’s nice to see everyone again and I think that’s what I’ll miss the most..
