Hamilton, Leclerc disqualification revisted as FIA handed Verstappen warning

Hamilton, Leclerc disqualified

At the 2023 United States Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton suffered the second disqualification from an F1 race of his career after finishing second.

Future Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc also suffered the same fate after taking sixth from pole on the road.

Nick Golding revists the double disqualification – the first time that’s happened in a single grand prix since Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg after the 2019 Japanese Grand Prix.

Verstappen’s ‘toxic’ response

Earlier this year, McLaren CEO Zak Brown said he believed the atmosphere at Red Bull was “toxic.”

Max Verstappen has hit back at that claim.
