LOS ANGELES Freddie Freeman’s closet was covered in 8-foot columns of blue balloons. Nearby was a large box of cookies and a birthday cake, along with gifts from the Dodgers kitchen staff for the sweet slugger.
I’m a big grinning guy,” the seven-time All-Star said with a smile. Freeman got a lot of love on his 34th birthday at Dodger Stadium, from gifts in the clubhouse to songs and dances from the crowd.
