Toney, who joined the Chiefs in 2022 after starting his career with the New York Giants, failed to meet Kansas City’s expectations, recording just 27 receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown in 13 games last season. Despite his struggles, Toney made a memorable impact in Super Bowl LVII with a crucial 65-yard punt return in the final minutes, contributing significantly to the Chiefs’ 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now, the Browns are assessing Toney as a potential addition to their receiving unit, which is currently led by Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, and Elijah Moore.
