Lewis Hamilton looked a strong contender as he was the only driver in the top five running on hard tires – and he didn’t run on soft tires as he was fastest in most practice sessions.
Red Bull was able to lead Verstappen on track to finish practice and took the lead from Piastre, and Ferrari and Hamilton.
