Sandro Tonali has emerged as an injury doubt after the international break, missing Italy’s Euro qualifier against Ukraine.

Italy’s Euro 2024 qualifiers with Ukraine were ruled out last Tuesday night after a summer signing, following a disappointing draw in North Macedonia four days earlier. Reports from Italy indicate that Tonali was diagnosed with muscle fatigue at Milan’s Columbus Clinic.
United have reportedly been informed of the latest move for the 23-year-old as he doubts whether he will be able to play in next week’s Champions League opener against former club AC Milan at the San Siro.
Tonali could feature against Brentford on Saturday after the international break, having been rested against Ukraine in midweek.
