Downpour leaves Lagos-Badagry Expressway flooded, residents groan

Hundreds of motorists and passengers traveling to Mile 2 were stranded on Saturday due to flooding caused by a morning downpour that disrupted free movement at the exhibition center and on the  Abule-Ado axis of Lagos – Badagry Expressway.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that flooding caused by the downpour had blocked the road from being open, temporarily hindering the movement of vehicles on the highway.
