Retired Dallas Cowboys Dez Bryant is asking “Team America” to sign former Florida State running back Dalvin Cook after being released by the New York Jets. The
Miami native now has a chance to play on a playoff team as the NFL enters Week 18.
Bryant, a three-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro, said the Cook signing “so smart!”
“Cowboys should get Dalvin Cook! Makes sense!” the former Cowboys wide receiver said.
He averaged 4.7 yards per carry over six years with the Minnesota Vikings before going to the Jets on a one-year deal before the start of the 2023 season.
Of the five franchises listed by CBS Sports (Dallas, Miami, Cleveland, San Francisco, Baltimore), Dallas ranks last in rushing yards per game (14th in the league).
