Deion Sanders has a keen understanding of the challenges facing Colorado’s offensive line.
This season, the Buffs’ offensive line has showcased its incompetence, ranking as one of the nation’s worst. However, during the UCLA game, the situation reached a tipping point when quarterback Shedeur Sanders bore the brunt of seven sacks. On Tuesday, Coach Prime revealed that he had held a confidential meeting with Colorado’s offensive line.
According to Coach Prime, the private meeting I had with the entire offense line was exceptional. I firmly believe that those guys are going to greatly improve their performance. This upcoming weekend will showcase a team that is not only more unified, but also more assertive, formidable, and ready for action than ever before. I have strong conviction that is truly genuine.”
Coach Prime expressed confidence in his staff’s ability to make the required scheme adjustments to ensure Shedeur Sanders remains upright.
Unfortunately, this weekend doesn’t bring any relief for Colorado’s O-line. Oregon State football team holds the third-highest number of sacks in the Pac-12 conference with a total of 26. However, none of the players from Oregon State has managed to accumulate more than four sacks individually.
Issiah Walker, a JUCO offensive tackle, has recently pledged his commitment to Colorado and is set to join the Buffs next year. Additionally, this weekend marks the occasion of 2024 five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton’s official visit to Boulder.
