Checo Perez believes he receives more criticism than he should
Sergio Perez has been questioned by some drivers for his overtaking maneuvers at the Japanese Grand Prix, some of which have ended in contact.
At Suzuka he had an incident with Lewis Hamilton on the first lap and with Kevin Magnussen on Lap 12, which caused him to retire from he race on Lap 15.
But Checo Perez feels that if that happens with other drivers, the criticism isn’t the same as that which he suffers.
“We saw it with (George) Russell, in the last race he crashed on the last lap while second and they don’t talk about it. That happens at Red Bull and you have three hundred media saying that they have to take you out of your position,” he said at an event with sponsors.
