Deion Sanders is injecting a “we are going to win” mentality into the Colorado Buffaloes as they gear up for a crucial season. After a disappointing 4-8 record last year, Sanders is confident in his squad, featuring star players like Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders. He believes the team’s offense is better now as they have new players and can overcome past struggles easily.

However, Sanders also knows that his team’s past performance is still garnering some criticism. Thus, wanting to shield his players from negativity, the head coach brought in two friends — a three-time Super Bowl champion and a former 49ers head coach — to boost the team’s spirits.
Legends light up the locker room for Buffs
In a recent video from Well Off Media, Coach Prime fired up the Buffs in the locker room. He brought in former 49ers coach Steve Mariucci, aka “Mooch,” to speak with his players. Mariucci began thanking Deion. “I love what I do here!” He and Deion go back to their NFL Network days. Since that introduction, Mooch has become a familiar face to the Buffs. “The whole world is watching you. Some people are on your side and say it’s great, others are rooting for you,” he said. He told a funny story about how Deion taught him to dance and everyone laughed.
Then former Broncos star Mark Schlereth came out and said he’s an asset to this team. He reflected on Prime Coach’s “belief” and quoted the Bible verse, “Love others more than yourself” and made a “statement” that fans should follow. Now the Buffs look to draw inspiration from the legend and turn those words into victories on the field..
