Browns Injury Report: Browns receive positive news for offensive line ahead of Steelers game

There is some optimism in the air in Berea on Thursday, as the Cleveland Browns welcomed an important piece back.

Rookie RT Dawand Jones returned to practice for the first time after missing last week’s win over the Baltimore Ravens. The rookie missed one game with a knee injury and practicing on Thursday is a good sign he could return.

Unfortunately for the Browns, a few players remain out. On Thursday, S Juan Thornhill (calf) and WR Marquise Goodwin (concussion) did not practice. Deshaun Watson is out for the season with a shoulder.

Jones being back would mean good things, as James Hudson is not suited to go up against All-Pro EDGE T.J. Watt. The rookie has seen him once this season already and held his one in Week 2, so Jones won’t be blindsided here.

Thornhill may not be able to go in Week 11 after picking up the calf injury against the Ravens. Fortunately, Cleveland has S Rodney McLeod who can step in and play
