Carolina Panthers linebacker Marquis Haynes Sr. is back. in Charlotte on Monday, the team said. He spent the night at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville after suffering a concussion in the loss to the Jaguars.
Haynes remains in the concussion protocol and his eligibility for the season finale against Tampa Bay is in question. Haynes has been sidelined since the summer with a back injury and had just 142 defensive snaps in seven games.
In 2022, the linebacker set career highs with 29 tackles, 13 QB hits, seven tackles for loss, five sacks and four passes defensed.
