Paige Spiranac has had her say on LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau, after the pair spent time together earlier this week, with the former Ladies’ European Tour star changing her tune on the major winner
Paige Spiranac, the most followed golf pro on Instagram, has recently praised LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau.
The pair teamed up earlier this week for a collaboration on their YouTube channels. Despite past disagreements, Spiranac seems to have changed her tune about DeChambeau.
She shared with her followers and hinted at upcoming content featuring both of them.: “Have to give credit where credit is due to @b_dechambeau.
I’ve publicly trolled him in the past but in person he was nothing but kind, funny, and self deprecating. Total opposite from how I perceived him over the years.
And you would think I should know better because it happens to me everyday. I’m excited for you to see the content we’ve been shooting and an opportunity for you to get to know us both better! Coming soon.
However, her past comments about DeChambeau haven’t always been so positive.
She also criticized DeChambeau’s famous comments about Augusta National being a par-67, especially during his bad performance at the Masters.
Before the first major tournament of 2022, Spiranac took to social media, writing: “Remember when Bryson called Augusta National a par 67. Good times.” When DeChambeau finally won a major championship, she just barely congratulated him.
DeChambeau shone at the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot, beating fellow American Matthew Wolff by six shots. “It’s fun to give Bryson s*** at times,” Spiranac remarked after the Crushers GC captain’s first major victory.
“But you have to give him so much credit for sticking to his guns despite all the hate and now he gets to call himself a US Open Champion. Well deserved win.”
