Postseason honors continue for Georgia Bulldogs; this time, freshmen will be recognized.

Today some Bulldogs The standout freshmen of the 2023 season will have a chance to be recognized for their accomplishments when the Football Writers Association of America announces its All-American freshman team, which includes three Georgia players. Thirty-two freshmen were named to that list, including three Dawgs tied for the lead with Clemson. Offensive lineman Earnest Greene III, shortstop Peyton Woodring and linebacker CJ Allen represented the Bulldogs on the list, marking the first time since 2018 that three players received the honor.
This year, Georgia has had at least one player on the Freshman All-American list for eight consecutive seasons, the best in all of college football. The list also includes SEC Rookie of the Year Alabama security Caleb Downs, PAC-12 Offensive Rookie of the Year Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita and BIG 10 Rookie of the Year Purdue security Dillon Thieneman.
