Blake Corum, the Michigan running back, continues to demonstrate his high level of respect both on and off the football field. Michigan running back Blake Corum is using his Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) money to purchase 600 turkeys, which he will personally deliver in Ypsilanti. He has been doing this for Thanksgiving for the third year in a row.
Corum stated, “Man, this is my purpose,” as reported by MLive. “Taking a break from football, stress, and anxiety to clear my mind.” Football can accomplish a great deal.
Corum has now organized his “Giving Back 2 Give Thanks” event for the third year in a row, utilizing funds from NIL to support his community.
Corum insisted, “This has nothing to do with me at all. I didn’t orchestrate any of this.” Many of us were involved. So many people came together to make the third annual “BC2 Give Back 2 Give Thanks” event a success, despite the name. This has absolutely nothing to do with me. This is all about a close-knit community striving to create positive change. When we join forces, we can truly make a difference. I believe that small groups have the power to make a significant impact on the larger picture, and I think that’s exactly what we’re accomplishing.
