The Hungarian Grand Prix verdict from Lewis Hamilton says a lot about Mercedes’ prospects of winning.

After the first day of practice ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are both worried about Mercedes, despite the fact that Mercedes has won the last two races. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton expressed similar worries on Mercedes’ prospects of winning in Budapest this coming weekend.

Mercedes had won two straight races going into the Hungarian Grand Prix, including Hamilton’s thrilling victory at Silverstone. However, following Friday’s practice session, neither the seven-time Formula 1 champion nor his colleague expressed confidence in their ability to make it three straight.

George Russell and Lewis Hamilton expressed similar worries on Mercedes’ prospects of winning in Budapest this coming weekend. Mercedes enter the Hungarian market.
