Tiger Woods, the golf champion, in tears as he explain to media the nightmares about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

On July 13, 2024, during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the 48-year-old Republican front-runner was shot during a flight from Florida to Scotland for the 152nd British Open at Royal Troon.

He acknowledged that the event had kept him up all during the flight.

Before going to his first practice, Woods said to BBC Sport that he wasn’t feeling all that fresh because he had been watching coverage of the President Trump assassination attempt on the plane.

“I couldn’t have a significant impact because I wasn’t in the right mental state.” All we’ve seen this entire time is that the assassination was a long night.
