Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica Stoll £8million have spark up another tremendously U-turn
Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica Stoll have taken a major U-turn on their divorce plans ahead of this weekend’s US Open.
Despite the couple’s divorce only being filed last month, the pair have had a change of heart after seven years and reports suggest they are still working on their relationship.
McIlroy and Stoll first met at the Ryder Cup in 2012 before tying the knot five years later in a lavish ceremony at Ashford Castle.
They would welcome daughter Poppy Kennedy into the world in 2020 – and many of their years together were spent in the stunning £8m mansion in Jupiter, Florida, which Rory bought from golfer Ernie Els in 2012.
Although McIlroy grew up in Holywood, County Down, the 35-year-old moved to Florida to play more golf in the state.
