Bryson DeChambeau captured his second US Open major at Pinehurst 2 after defeating Rory McIlroy in a tight match. The Northern Irishman held his nerve on the final hole of the US Open to win the second major of his career.
Additionally, Paige Spiranac confronted X and criticized golf reporter Brandel Chamblee for downplaying the LIV superstar’s win.
Paige wrote:
“Brandel saying ‘congratulations’ because Bryson won the US Open is wild.” Didn’t even try to hide her hatred for him. Smh”

Chamblee has been pretty vocal about his distaste for him. LIV For golf and its participants. He has publicly attacked many LIV golfers in the past, Anthony Kim being the latest example.
On the other side of the coin, Rory McIlory’s hitting streak in the Majors stretches even further. The world No. 3 last won a major at the 2014 PGA Championship 3,598 days ago.
The rivalry between McIlroy and DeChambeau was fierce throughout. Bryson played second fiddle to McIlroy for much of the final day.
But DeChambeau held his nerve and made a great putt on the final hole to win his first major since joining LIV Golf.
