Jaylen Brown has come up big time for the Boston Celtics in the 2024 NBA Playoffs

But his excellence in this postseason isn’t just isolated in this matchup versus the Mavericks. He has been doing incredibly well overall in the playoffs. In fact, he just pulled off a feat last accomplished by Boston legend Larry Bird back in the early part of the 1980s.

Brown and the Celtics aren’t thinking about matching any statistics their predecessors had set before them.
