Georgia Football releases mind blowing salary details for new assistants James Coley and Josh Crawford

Athens Georgia replaced two offensive linemen. James Coley is the new wide receivers coach and Josh Crawford is the new running backs coach and running game coordinator.
Coley
will make $650,000 and Crawford will make $450,000.

   These figures were obtained by DawgNation through a public records request.
Coley
replaces Bryan McClendon, who left the program to become the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McClendon earned $752,000 at Georgia last year. McClendon has been to Georgia twice.
This
is Coley’s second season at Georgia, having previously worked with Kirby Smart from 2016 to 2019. Coley spent two years coaching receivers before becomingquarterbacks coach and then offensive coordinator . Coley spent the last four years at Texas A&M.

Crawford took over as head coach after Dell McGee took over at Georgia State. McGee is the second-highest paid running backs coach in the country, earning $852,000 in his eighth season at Georgia.

Crawford was a 2023 at Georgia Tech. Like McGee, Crawford has strong ties to the state of Georgia as a high school coach. Georgia confirmed the hiring of Coley and Crawford on Monday. a great coach and leader of young men,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said. As for Josh, I have had the pleasure of seeing his work over the years and am very impressed. He was given the opportunity for his effort and for the impact he had on the soccer coach in our country.
Georgia
hired four assistants this year. On the defensive side of the ball, Donte Williams replaces Fran Brown and Travaris Robinson replaces Will Muschamp.

There is no need to wait for a new assistant coach as Georgia is ready to hit the field. Spring training begins March 12. The Bulldogs will be out of practice on G-Day on April 13. Game times and television networks have not yet been announced..
