I’m Peeing Blood Right Now: Deion Sanders’ Son Shilo Gives Health Update

I’m Peeing Blood Right Now: Deion Sanders’ Son Shilo Gives Health Update After Brutal Kidney Injury Against Oregon Deion Sanders, Deion Sanders’ middle son, Shilo Sanders, took a huge hit on the 23rd against Oregon, in September at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. On the flight home, the 23-year-old reportedly urinated blood from an undisclosed injury and was rushed to the emergency room after landing in Boulder. It was later reported that Shilo suffered a kidney injury during the game.

A spokesperson for Coach Prime indicated on Tuesday that Shilo is feeling better, but that will reportedly be a game-day decision against Caleb Williams against the USC Trojans on Saturday. With Shilo on the bench, the Buffs would be without two players on the defensive side of the ball, one of which is Travis Hunter.

Shilo Sanders suffered a kidney injury against Oregon In a Colorado Buffaloes vlog via Well Off Media, Shilo Sanders said after the home run:

I can’t say I didn’t play hard, I’m peeing blood right now.” Asked if she was okay, Shilo added, “No, I crashed and I landed on, like, my kidney or something,” adding that she “needs to go to the ER to get checked out.” It’s certainly an alarming upgrade from a star player who recorded seven tackles, six of which were solo.

In his first four games with the Buffaloes, he totaled 26 tackles, including 21 solo, one forced fumble and an 80-yarder against Colorado State a week earlier. “We landed and went straight to the hospital to check on him,” Sanders said Thursday. “He cannot participate until he stops urinating blood. He said to the doctor, “You know I’m Sanders, don’t you? I have to play.” So he wants to play so bad.

We probably have another 36 hours before we know if he stops peeing.” And with that, Shilo is still a game-day decision against the USC Trojans. Deion Sanders says Shilo is a game-day decision against USC. The Buffaloes are 21.5-point underdogs in Week 5 against the mighty USC Trojans.

With the team in a tough situation without Travis Hunter at WR/CB and a questionable Shilo Sanders, we’ll see if this Saturday will be as tragic as their game at Oregon. “It’s a blow,” Prime said, if his son can’t play against the Trojans. “Shilo, he’s the attitude back there. He’s the sound guy, he’s the enforcer, he’s there.”

However, with several celebrities including LeBron James, Matthew McConaughey and Jay Z attending their next game, the Buffs are expected to perform at Folsom Stadium.
